Case Study
Newport Dermatology
Replaced a five-year-old template site. Consultation requests 2.3× in the first quarter.
The Challenge
A respected dermatology practice running a five-year-old template site that had fallen behind. The practice was at capacity for general dermatology but had room to grow in cosmetic services, where margins are significantly higher.
The Approach
01
Discovery
Three weeks of research into how patients search for dermatological care. Most practices compete on "board-certified" when patients actually search for outcomes.
02
Strategy
Repositioned cosmetic services as the primary focus without diminishing the medical practice. Built separate entry points for medical and cosmetic patients.
03
Design
Clinical aesthetic with warmth. Photography direction focused on results, not process or equipment.
04
Build
Replaced the template with a hand-coded build. Integrated with the practice's existing EMR for appointment requests.
The Outcome
2.3×
Consultation requests, first quarter
+44%
Cosmetic appointments as share of total visits
